Hello families!!
We arrived two days ago in Entebbe! We’re taking in all of the sights, smells, and sounds of this new-to-us city! There are smiling people everywhere, a beautiful view of Lake Victoria, and interesting wildlife. Especially large birds! It’s not too congested here, a smaller town, and we have occasional run in’s with other travelers. The food is great, nice meals from our hostel and great local exotic fruit. We’re all getting to know each other pretty well through downtime, orientation, ice breakers, and sharing our hopes and fears! Colin’s laugh is great, and makes everyone else laugh. There is no way to describe it though!
Right now we’re on a small group scavenger hunt through Entebbe, interacting with locals and asking lots of questions! We hope you’re all doing well!
