Hi Everyone, It’s Julia, Maddy, and Kylie! We are on a Scavenger hunt in Entebbe. One of our quests is to find an internet cafe and post a blog that gives you an image of the city. So far, we have only walked down a few streets. The local market in Entebbe is busy with countless Africans running shops and stalls on the side of the street. There are a handful of restaurants that serve local food. We tried some yesterday! We all had a mix of rice, sweet potato, smashed plantain, and other mushy stuff. We each also ordered either fish, chicken, beans, or peas to go along with it. The group had mixed reactions but we were all excited to try local food. We are staying in a hostel that is really nice and has great service. On Sunday we move on to the Rhino conservation place. Unfortunatly, we have to move on with our hunt so we will post soon!
