Buddhist ways of life

Hello everyone!

We arrived in Noosa and had three days to just relax on the beach, hit the shops and cafe, as well as check out the National Park.  It was a good time for us all to rejuvenate from our packed stay in Fiji.
We then went to Chenrezing Buddhist Institute in Sunshine Coast Australia.  We've been here for a week learning the Buddhist lifestyle.  We attended a teaching in a Buddhist sanctuary called a Gompa, done by the Geshe (Tibetan teacher).  There have been daily meditations where we have learned to open our minds and think positively. we also attended an art class at the Institute, and learned the precise way of drawing the Buddhas face.  We also had an option to attend a yoga class, learning basic moves and breathing technique.  We all challenged ourselves taking apart of a day of silence, it was harder than expected.  It was a day to reflect.  Very few can say they went the complete day without talking.  Here at Chenrezig, we've been eating delicious vegetarian food, and delectable cakes that are backed here daily.  After a week of reflection, we now venture off for an overnight train to Cairns where we are headed for the daintree rainforest.

Miss you, hope everything is good in the States!
