Dearest Friendies

Dearest Friendies,

I’ve been walking around the streets of Dharmsala, still expecting to see your faces pop out of a cafe or wandering back to visit your homestay family. Instead, I see people that we all know and we spend a moment talking about how great you are and wondering how you are readjusting to home.

At times it all feels like a dream, then I recall all of the very real moments that we shared. On the rooftop of the Wongden, the Kali temple, Rishi-ji, the dance party in Jahdol, the haunted house, the boat ride in Varanasi, sitting under the Bodhi tree, avoiding poop at Mother Teresa home, Holi, delirious laughing on the trek, trudging through the streets of Darjeeling, cleaning our noses on the banks of the Ganga, the local bus that would never end, planting okra, meeting his holiness, crying at the airport… So many lively debates, quiet conversations and laughs.

We truly shared something special out here. John-ji and I are looking so forward to staying in touch over the coming years and seeing which seeds will flower in each of us.

We send so much love and gratitude to each of the Shanti Friendies and all of those that have supported us in this life changing adventure.
