New Delhi!

Namaste!
The Shiva group and I arrived in New Delhi two days ago and have been experiencing lots of unfamiliar aspects of this culture. Within five minutes of leaving the airport, I witnessed an elephant grazing the side of the highway. I am beginning to get used to the gawks and stares of locals and enjoying their spicy food. The Shiva group been happily posing for pictures that the locals ask for and using our Steripens religiously. Right now, fellow traveler Luke and I are in an internet cafe during our New Delhi scavenger hunt. We’ve ridden in taxis and rickshaws and have learned how to bargain our rupeees. We spent a little time visiting the Lotus Temple yesterday and the Raj Ghat, the burial site of Gandhi, today. Both beautiful attractions of India. We are all continuing to recover from jetlag as well as struggling to get full nights of sleep due to the extreme heat. So far India has had a lot to offer and I am trying to take in all I can to appreciate this beautiful yet challenging country!
