Things we learned in Chiang Mai

Sah-wat-dee kah/krap!
Our time in Chiang Mai has already taught the group so much about traveling in a new place. We have spent the past week getting to know each other and our new home away from home, Chiang Mai. We have learned…
– You can always rely on the kindness of strangers to give you directions or just a friendly hello
– Always be willing to try new things whether its durian, bugs, or a traditional Thai massage
– Live the rooster life; wake with the sun, sleep with the moon
– Have a raincoat handy, you never know when it could start pouring
– Always carry your own toilet paper… squat toilets are not your friend
– Smoothies are a way of life: breakfast, lunch, and dinner
– Saturday afternoons are reserved for the markets

With love,
Parker and Maura
