Today was our last full day here in Baños before we leave for the Amazon and the end to an amazing week. We topped off our stay here with white water rafting trip earlier today, everyone had a blast and Harvey even went for a little swim. Yesterday we went on a little trip up to Casa de Arboles, a beautiful park atop one of the many mountains that surround Baños. As astounding as the view was I think I speak for everyone when I say the highlight was the swing that goes out off the edge of the mountain with nothing but a long fall below (don’t worry though we used seatbelts). The rest of our week consisted of 4 hours of spanish lessons in the morning followed by lunch with our host families and teaching english at local schools. For tonight we planned a final visit to the refreshing waters of the hot springs that Baños is named for. Though our stay here has been wonderful it is time for us to move on to new adventures.
