👉 One of the things that makes a Carpe experience so special is that we focus on both the fun adventures and deep connections AND acknowledge the challenges that we face along the way. By owning the challenges and discussing how to overcome them, students grow and develop as individuals and a group! ⁠

In a recent blog, here were some of the challenges that Central America students disclosed: "One of our main challenges was returning to Spanish school after a week-long break. It can be hard to pick up skills and retain knowledge from several days prior. Additionally, the houses we are staying in don’t always have running water for showers (though we did get to learn how to take a bucket shower!), which can make it difficult to take care of ourselves." 🧗🏾⁠
