IMG_0107 IMG_0112 IMG_0092 IMG_0095 photoGreetings from the Great White Shark Capitol of the world. Gaansbaai, South Africa. Being about 3 feet away from these massive creatures it is so breathtaking when you see an 18 foot shark breach out of the water. It only takes two powerful strokes of their tails and they are at full speed.

On the boat one of my favorite things to do is make fish head necklaces for the bait line. It's just like our version of arts and crafts, only with fish heads instead of macaroni art. Sometimes we have to get up very early and other days it's later. It depends on what trip you're on and on my case I am usually on all the trips. So a solid 10 hours at sea some days. Although getting bird poo on you and sometimes throw up on your head (yes it's happened to me) seeing these majestic creatures do full breaches makes it all worth it.
