Wait…where is everybody?

Dearest students who smell really great, and families who have the privilege of receiving said delightful-smelling young adults,

We have already gambled away all the money we saved by not having to pay your Honduran departure fees, and now we are writing for help. Who knew we would so quickly lose our way without you here? Please send care packages of Chickys ASAP, as we are entering withdrawal. It also turns out that Chickys are the strongest form of currency in Honduran prison, so we need as many as you can ship down here (see photographic evidence below).

Keith is also here, for suspicious reasons, and wants us to remind you not to forget about your potential for harnessing the energy around you. Make sacrifices to the cacao spirit, or else.

In all seriousness though, it's only been a few hours but we already feel a real sense that something important is missing from our lives…you all have been the recipients of almost all of our energy the past three months, and we hope you can continue to feel the effects of our group and our time together long after you hit the tarmac in your hometown. Watching you struggle, succeed, be defeated and bounce back, laugh with each other, walk away from each other, hold hands, hold breaths, care for one another, encourage one another, make mistakes and learn from them, and get durn good at travelin' has been an incredible experience. Thank you for letting us travel with you for the past few months – we loved it.

Con amor,
Papa Mitz and Mama J
