The following is a poem written in Spanish class about what it means to be an Inti group member:
Una persona de Carpe Diem Inti es una mezcla de muchos orígenes. Una persona Inti es única y está creciendo. Esta persona tiene ojos muy grandes para ver al mundo: todas las partes malas y buenas. Esta persona tiene orejas más grande para escuchar todas las opiniones e las ideas del mundo. Esta persona tiene una boca muy pequeña porque cuando dice muchas cosas, no puede escuchar ni aprender. Entonces con una boca pequeña, una persona de Carpe Diem Inti trata de hablar solamente cuando dice cosas buenas e importantes. Esta persona quiere ser sabia y trata cada día ser más sabia. Esta persona es un estudiante del mundo, de la vida, de Dios (o del espíritu), y de las personas y la naturaleza de este planeta. A una persona de Carpe Diem Inti le gusta explorar y disfrutar la vida. A esta persona le encantan las bromas y sonreírse mucho. Esta persona acepta cuando él/ella está triste, enojado, o confundido porque piensa que las emociones son importantes en la vida e importante para crecer y aprender sobre si mismo. Esta persona quiere cambiar el mundo, y esta persona cambiará el mundo.
English translation:
A Carpe Diem Inti person is a mixture, a person of many origins. An Inti person is unique and is growing. An Inti person has very large eyes to see the world: all the bad parts and all the good parts. An Inti person has very large ears to listen to all of the opinions and the ideas of the world. An Inti person has a very small mouth because when one talks too much, they can’t listen or learn. So, with their small mouth, an Inti person tries to speak only when they have good and important things to say. An Inti person wants to gain wisdom, and tries every day to become wiser. An Inti person is a student of the world, of life, of God (or of spirit), and of the people and nature of this planet. An Inti person likes to explore and likes to enjoy life. An Inti person loves jokes and smiles all the time. An Inti person accepts when they are sad, angry, or confused because they think that emotions are important in life, and important in order to grow and learn about oneself. An Inti person wants to change the world, and an Inti person will change the world.
