I’m Regina Huston and I’m going on the fall MAYA CAM trip.
A lot of people have been giving me opinions on what ‘heavy duty’ shoes to bring with me on the trip and I would love to hear it from the people who know best.
YOU GUYS.
SO….
I have a pair of ankle high BROKEN IN heavy duty hiking shoes, I don’t know if they’re water proof or not, but they fit me and they’re already broken in. I also have a pair of NOT ANKLE HIGH hiking shoes that are also broken in that I have worn in wet terrain before. I have been to Costa Rica before, and took these (not ankle high ones) with me, and did fine in the rain forests. However, we did not hike/trek for three days on this trip.
