Wouldn’t Wallaby Anywhere Else

By Eric and Peter

After an extensive 24 hours of flying and driving, we arrived at SheOak Ridge, which also happens to be a wallaby sanctuary run by Clare and Marcus. While there, we camped out in their backyard in tents, had some pretty freaky night time pee runs in the bush, and went for a day hike in the rainforest. This morning, however, we took a break from the bush and went into Port Douglas. We are currently on a scavenger hunt around the Port, where we have to find things like: Australian slang words, hostile residences, and food we have never eaten before in ‘Merica. Having a blast here, and cannot wait to see where we go next.
